• ½ tablespoon butter
• 4 ounces ground beef
• 2 tablespoons onion, thinly sliced
• 2 whole eggs, whisked
• 2 ounces shredded cheese
• ¼ teaspoon salt
1. Warm the butter in a skillet or frying pan over medium heat. Sauté thinly sliced onion for 2 minutes until translucent.
2. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Break it apart with a spatula as needed.
3. Remove onion beef mixture and set aside.
4. Whisk eggs and salt in a bowl.
5. Pour the eggs into the pan and cook without disturbing until the egg sets. It takes about 3 minutes over medium heat.
6. Arrange the meat over one-half of the eggs. Sprinkle half of the cheese on top and fold the omelette over. Lower heat, top with remaining cheese, and cover with a lid. Continue cooking until cheese melts completely.
7. Remove from heat, arrange on a plate and serve warm.
